Blowing bubbles on the lanai! Even Luci was blowing bubbles. Of course her face got a little soapy in the process.

Phone call to Grandma

Luci loves to pretend to talk on the phone and you never know what's on her mind. She 'called' grandma the other day and had some things to talk about.

Life's a Beach!

We love living in Florida! And we love having our choice of beautiful beaches to visit on the weekend. We've visited a few over the past few weeks and are narrowing down our favorites. Here are some pics of the girls at the beach. Matt always goes prepared with fishing gear for Brooke and they usually catch 1-2 fish. I think Matt is a little more into it than Brooke, but the girls have fun once the fish gets reeled in.

Both girls love watching the bait in the bucket. This week we had a stalker that kept grabbing bait from our bucket. The girls kept trying to chase him away.

Easter

Really had no time for blogging during the spring semester! Here are our Easter pics. We went to the worst organized Easter egg hunt ever on main street in Lakewood Ranch. Hundreds of kids in the high class shopping area with eggs arranged in 4x4 areas. I little bit of an exaggeration, but not much.

Brooke did great in the 1-4 year old arena. Luci couldn't fit through the crowd of parents to get any eggs, but Brooke actually shared.

On Easter day, we had our own Easter hunt in the back yard. Of course, the morning started off with drama. Brooke had a stomach bug and was sick - yuck. Fortunately, the Easter bunny had left the baskets on the lanai and had time to sneak outside and remove all the candy so there were no temptations. Luci was the one to spot the baskets outside and was really excited about her eggs.

Spring Show

The girls had their spring show a few weeks back. I recorded Brooke's performance, since she really 'performed'. Little Luci's class just stood on stage - a little overwhelmed by the event.
